PSB....aka....

...purple sprouting broccoli. Our first harvest today. Was it worth waiting nearly a year (sown May 2009). Oh yes! So tasty, lightly steamed with poached egg on toast (home-made bread too). Just need to get us some chooks to complete the picture.

    Mmm yes I hope it's not a one-off and we get some more. Lots of people seem to have had late PSB this year.

    PS Hello Damo. Congratulations on all your prizes last year. Don't think any of our veg is prize-winning. Tastes good though!
